This week Tess & Sarah are chatting with Nutritionist and Experienced Yoga Teacher, Lillie Jewell. Lillie is back on The Happy Edit to drop her knowledge about how our senses can majorly impact how we connect with our food and shares how the body really has nine types of hunger. One theme that kept coming up: mindfulness plays a key factor in healthy nutrition and overall happiness levels.
Nine Hungers: eye, touch, ear, nose, mouth, stomach, cellular, mind and heart.
The Happy Edit Tool for this week: Notice what type of hunger you are experiencing without judgment. When you notice hunger, notice how you’re feeling in the heart, the mind, the body. Observe what comes up for you with compassion. Just notice.
Happiness isn't just being happy, it's an embodied feeling that starts with how we approach life, our actions and our mindset. Everyone has a range of emotions and that’s a good thing. Join The Happy Edit Sisters as they dive into what it means to be happy and how we can build a foundation for happiness through different lenses.

About our Guest:
Lillie Jewell is a yoga teacher who has been living in an ashram in India for the past decade. She and her husband, Krish, own and run AyurYoga Eco-Ashram, a non-sectarian ashram in south India that offers Yoga and Ayurveda retreats on a riverside organic agroforest. Over the past 10 years Lillie has learned from, and taught with, scholars of traditional yoga and Ayurveda. Lillie’s perceptive nature has made her a mediator between East and West, navigating the nuanced waters of culture, philosophy, and science. In an effort to bridge the gap between ancient science of Ayurveda and evidence-based nutrition, she is currently completing her master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
