Nicola Docherty is an Actor, Writer and Filmmaker from Glasgow! She's worked her way through the industry for the last decade from international theatre tours to award winning films and now likes to mix it up both in front of and behind the camera. Acting is her first love but in recent years she's branched out into writing and directing her own work too! Last year she was commissioned by BBC Short Stuff to create her original sketch Good Girls: Death Drop Demon and in October of last year her 48 hour film Directorial debut 'By Now' won the Glasgow competition and is headed to Filmapalooza in Lisbon in March 2024! Nic always strives to bring Body positivity, Authentic LGBTQIA+ representation and Realistic Female perspectives combined with her feisty and funny nature to the stage, screen and beyond!
