This week Tess & Sarah are chatting with Yoga Therapist, Somatic Healer and Educator, Michelle Young. Michelle brings her expertise of somatic awareness and yoga therapy to explore how we can use the sense of touch and physical awareness to support our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.


Something that came up a lot during the conversation was that when it comes to creating happiness in our lives, simple is better than complicated.


The Happy Edit Tool for this week: Breathe with the motion of your hands gently sliding up and down your thighs or arms. Inhale moving the hands one way, exhale moving the hands the other way. Notice the sensations.


Happiness isn't just being happy, it's an embodied feeling that starts with how we approach life, our actions and our mindset. Everyone has a range of emotions and that’s a good thing.
