Informative & Thoughtful
I enjoyed how the book is put together, in bite sized sections with characters that are realistic and relatable. It’s easy to follow along with, the author does a great job at highlighting and breaking down key concepts, and is great to listen to as well, I love her accent!

Amazing book-huge breadth of topics
Authors voice and cadence are soothing. Topics and advice are not only helpful but cover a wide breadth of topics. I feel like I just sat down for tea with my wisest friend and left with a fulfilled soul.

Easy listen

Wow
This book is narrated by the author, Dr. Annie Zimmerman. I thought I could listen to her read a phone book and find it interesting because of her soothing voice and British accent. But if she read a phone book I would have missed out on her passion to help people. This book is full of wisdom and insight and one that I will gladly keep in my pocket and listen to again and again.

So good, I bought 2 more physical copies!
Her ability to unpack, organize, and covay such complex situations is fantastic. Not too flowery while also not too cerebral. The content is digestible and relatable to anyone who is living and breathing, and I will be recommending this to all of my family and friends. Especially for those who are reluctant to physically start therapy. I loved the audiobook so much, bought a hardback for myself and mailed a softcover to my cousin!

Great to get to know how you got to where you are.
Must read to understand how therapy is supposed to work. Read it if you are a therapist and if you are thinking about one or already seeing one. Fabulous book.

Just like the title this is pocket therapy, of course if you can afford one in person do that. But great job by the Author all around. I learnt a lot and this book reinforced things I am aware of and practicing. Very well done.
