Excellent reading and listening!

Highly recommend this wonderful, informative book on Yoga Nidra. Eye opening for further learning on Yoga Nidra meditation technique and underlying principles! Very interesting!

Discovering Yoga Nidra

I was my first encounter with Yoga Nidra. I began to read it for a practice in my yoga classes. It really open my eyes to a different kind of yoga, that I found fascinating . Practicing it help me get into a self relaxation, After any practice I feel renewed
It also has many psychologist explanations and solving problems ideas. Sometimes I found it a bit repetitive but It help me to understand better the philosophy of it. I have already recommended to my yogis friends

Great book horrible narrator!

I own this book, loved it, and purchased the audio as well. I should have listened to the sample and, if I had, would not have purchased the audio. The content is fantastic and I highly recommend reading it. I found the narration to be quite difficult to listen to. Ms. Scott reads in an excessively slow fashion. To me, there is no way this book should take over 15 hours to read. Ms. Scott also enunciates in an annoyingly protracted way, as if she's directing her words to individuals whose second language is English, not their first. If this type of narration is acceptable to you, you're in for a lengthy audio, and may indeed enjoy it just as it is. I double-timed the pace to 2.0 and finished the book in half the time. The final part of the book is a guided yoga nidra meditation and Ms. Scott's narration at 1.0 pace was okay for that. Sorry to be so negative about the narration - because the book itself is outstanding - but I stopped and started it several times before moving the pace to 2.0. I recommend that anyone considering purchasing the audio listen to the sample first.

Going within to reconnect!

I liked the education, reconnecting to self and making this a healthy consistent practice/habit.

Haters gonna hate

Yes, the narrator's voice is difficult, but the content is great, not easy to find such detail online, at the end there is the best yoga nidra practice i have ever heard, its really good if you really wanna learn.

Terrible reader

I am very interested in this subject. I I’ve been reading and listening to several sources on the topic of Yoga Nidra, but her voice was so annoying I could not get through the second Chapter. The reader over emphasized words and over dramatized the text. It was very distracting and irritating.
