Fake Dating? I'm In.

Well, I’m officially a sucker for the fake dating trope—and this story? Dylan and Rhyland? They were amazing.

Their relationship felt inevitable in the best way, and watching them fall for each other was one of the sweetest stories I’ve read. There are a few spicy scenes, but they don’t overpower the plot. That one scene though—on the phone, in the bathroom—oh my god. That might go down as one of my favorite scenes ever.

Bonus points: there’s no miscommunication trope here, which I loved. And the actual best part? Rhyland and Gravity’s relationship. Just... oh my god. I adored the two of them together.

And yes, the title is a Swift reference, and the FMC is a Swiftie—but it’s not heavy-handed at all. Just a cute little touch that adds to the charm.

This book got me out of a reading slump. The spicy was fantastic. The fmc was strong and not super annoying. I loved the change up in take of the MMCs negative experiences. There were some weird story line things that didn’t make sense like her career choice and the way a storm was described.
Can’t wait for the next story, hoping it’s Tate.

Love these narrators so much and they just made the story even that much better! LJ Shen knocked this out of the park! Definitely a favorite read of the year!!!!

I listened to the audiobook and absolutely ate it up! Both narrators did such a great job with this book! Teddy Hamilton is always perfect and he was amazing as always!
Dylan and Rhyland are the best example of enemies to lovers. Being his best friend's little sister added to the "not a chance" category that Rhyland placed her into. Things change when Dylan moves into her brother's Manhattan apartment with her young daughter. They soon both find themselves needing each other and in an engagement of convenience. What they don't expect is for the lines to get blurred. Giving into their growing feelings shouldn't happen but the more time they all spend together, those lines begin to disappear.
I loved this story of personal growth, life journeys, past traumas, current drama and one of the dreams that now seem within reach. The relationship that Rhyland gains with Dylan's daughter Grav....I cried so much!
I would give this audiobook INFINITY stars if I could!

Wildest dreams

Their banner is everything. What a good read. Lately everything has been meh so this was a surprise. Snarky mfc and same with the mmc. It actually had some story to it also which is a plus lately.

Perfection!

I am really loving this book! Currently on ch 25 & it’s just getting better and better! THamilton will always be fantastic & he’s hilarious in this. However, I will say it’s a slow burn…nothing has really happened as of yet. Hoping when it does, it’s worth it. Shall update when done.

My favorite in all these years of LJ Shen’s books!

Amazing story and lovable mmc. MFC had me wanting to slap her once or twice but that’s a great thing to have when reading; an emotional reaction. It was such an awesome story and I do think it’s my new favorite!

Epic👌

I almost didn’t listen because book 1 wasn’t my thing. Book 2 was freaking amazing. Fun, sexy and omg oh so hot. Spice doesn’t start until chap 27 but it’s so worth it. I hate slow burns because I read for the 🌶️ but this book was just so good. I highly recommend it. And of course, the narrators are impeccable. I read this book because of both narrators. I feel like the audiobook was better than post. I love when the male read their own part instead of the female trying to do a man’s voice. 10/10 for the narration.
