Rushed Ending

Interesting story and twist on shifters. There’s tons of time spent at the beginning/middle where she is clueless while constantly thinking they are supernaturally good. Their chemistry at the beginning is good but not great in the middle. It bothered me that she kept secrets the whole time and then he trusts her without question. The ending felt super rushed and made me feel less connected to their love story. I think a few key changes would have made this a much better book. No cliffhanger which I really appreciate!

phenomenal take on shifters

I really like the way that the shifters were incorporated into real life. with the secrecy and how the most of the public don't know it's the kind of storytelling that I like.

I can always count on Heather Long for an interesting and entertaining story. This book has been on my TBR forever, so I was excited to see it on audible plus. The single male narration does great for the guys, the female parts are a bit more restricted sounding.

Great story!

I usually don't like these paranormal romances, but coupled with the military scene, it was good. Very good character development and naration!
