Very good story and performance!!

This book is so good! I love the characters with their loyalty, strength, and brains, and their camaraderie. There is suspense, action, humor, and romance. The writing is so good and reveals the depth in the characters and some great truths about life. This is another winner! The performance is very good!!!!

Epic Love Story

WOW! The HEA Riley Edwards audiobook fans have been waiting for. Dangerous Love is book one in the Takeback series and if there’s one takeaway from the first book, it’s that this series is going to wreck me! What started as a one-night stand became a life-changing love. If you love a gut-wrenching, second-chance, surprise kid romance with twists and turns, grab this amazing series starter now! I cannot wait to hear where this series takes us.

Samantha Brentmoor is marvelous as the bighearted, beguiling, courageous mama bear, Brooklyn. Samantha narrating a character who is a romance audiobook narrator was delightful; the scene where she rehearses the male POV was everything. I loved all of her characterizations in this love story. Joe Arden is in top form as Rhode; his raw emotion will rip your heart out, but don’t worry he’ll piece it back together with all the swoony devotion. If you’re a fan of Joe’s kid voices, get this in your ears now because Remington is one of his very best! Samantha and Joe are two top-tier narrators and they brought their A+ performances to the booth to bring this long-awaited HEA to life. Dangerous Love was a banger audiobook and an aural treat.

Brilliant start

A brilliant start to a new series. I liked Brooklyn and Rhode and then add a kid and I’m in love. I also listened to the audiobook narrated by Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor. It was the first time I’ve ever heard them narrate a book. They did great and I’m anxious to listen to them again.

A great start to a whole new series!

Rhode and Brooklyn hooked up at a bar one night, no strings, no names, no nothing but one single night. Brooklyn left the next morning with a single kiss and a surprise.
After 6 years neither forgot about the other one and Rhode desperately wanted to look for her but had no way to even begin, little did he know she was so close all this time.
While on a case, he finds her at the crime scene and is just as shocked as she was. Rhode isn’t letting her go this time, not without a fight.
Rhode walked into the bookstore and stopped dead in his tracks. He looked at Remington and saw himself.
Brooklyn didn’t want Rhode to find out this way that they had a child from that night years ago but nothing she can do now but explain it all to him.
I love that Rhode and Brooklyn was able to move forward even with so many years between them gone.
