Rushed!!!

Why is there a time skip and missing chapters/ a whole book? The last chapter was just rushed with a time skip. Should have ended the book 5 or 6 chapters before the end of the book.

story arc

spoiler alert sets up what could be great battle lines up coming. jumps past then down plays a huge set up with highlights condensed mini battle. Missed out on what could of been a great book. That dropped from a 5 star to a 3 star for me personally. Overall a great series of books so far!!

All The bad guys really got what was coming to them.

Great book. Really looking forward to the next one and seeing how the Brady republic takes on the greater universe and the system. I felt as though the rush towards the end was necessary to detail the push past the clan basically fighting in the bushes to having the earth somewhat under full control and having stability now. Now they’re taking on greater challenges and I can’t wait to see it.

what happened?

it was very rushed like the last 30 minutes of the book was like three books in 30 minutes. it's like maybe the author just doesn't want to continue. or maybe he wants to do something different. I can get that but like he could have easily got three more books out of out of that. it just was very rushed with time. skips at the end there I would have much preferred if we started the next book in 10 years and then maybe the next book do that the 100 years. but yeah like new family members just glossed over all sorts of stuff. like yeah I felt really rushed

I loved this book. Cannot recommend this series enough. I hope there’s more to come.

many future listenings

great story with many great values this goes for the first five books. this will become a repeat listen as a great pick me up, in sad and broken times. it's a series of hope for mankind

book 4 review

the ending was rushed and crammed. a whole arc was glossed over in 30 minutes. The war was just cliff notes. could have expanded it more since its more interesting than wat was expanded in the first 15hrs. the first 17hrs were ok even though the whinning of the MC started to get irritating. Every time the MC and His daughters would ask why why why it was getting on my nerves. Things are what they are we definitely dont need the Why is it happening waterboarding. it makes the book seem less serious when it tries to portray naivitey soooo much. Sorry for the rumbling I was just expecting more and I was a little let down. The fight with the big bad and giants was underwhelming, expected more from the feared giants and creature but it all finished in a giffy with less troops and prep. the fight with Mike wa s more of a challenge in comparison while the danger they represent are vastly different. It got tiring listening to the overly nice MC not wanting to do this and that and just be passive .

The end was rushed

I started my audible journey with system universe and the war breaker. I loved both and have continued both since but this latest book was rushed and repetitive. I dont do reviews often but I'm disappointed enough to say so this time
