Such a good book, I could not put it down no matter how hard I tried!

Kept my attention from beginning to end. Great narration. The best book I’ve read in a while!

Scary Movie Potential

This would make a great movie even though or because the MC is so unlikeable. That said, it was fascinating and scary. Will be checking out more from this author. Reader did a great job.

Maybe the best narrator I’ve heard

Ok before I review the book, I just have to state for the record that this narrator is 12/10. I was really impressed at the quality of the different voices he used for various characters, particularly the female characters.
The book was awesome, unexpected and included in my prime( though honestly I would not have been disappointed if I had used a credit). Fast paced, interesting story, not stock standard haunted house at all. A very pleasant surprise all the way around.

Great story, pace and narration!

This was a great horror suspense. You cannot go wrong with this one. I was on the edge of my seat. I felt like I was along for the ride, enmeshed with the characters.

+5 for story -2 for too much mispronunciation

It's a great story, and for the most part the narrator was very good, but his mispronunciations grated on my nerves. Especially maddening was "divining" rod, and he said it so much I almost rage quit! Otherwise though, excellent book.

Story has some great twist and turns. A bit of a weak ending in my opinion but still very good nonetheless.

questioned the writer several times.

idk it was okay. worth it I guess intwrestimg concept but I couldn't figure out if the writer was making the main character out to be a good guy, shtty guy, or just a "regular" guy, but he was a crap dad and unrealistic reaction to his kid getting sucked into the walls with a bunch of psychos. x
caught some contradictions and things that didn't make sense.. it was definitely a good concept tho. worth it if you catch it on sale or something.
