Rather predictable.

What annoyed me the most about this one was the overuse of the phrase, "it had to be a trick" every time something unexplained or spooky happened. Not enough spooky, either.

Great read

Great storyline and great narration with a little bit of plot twist. I enjoyed listening to this audible and they were moments where I couldn’t stop listening.

It was the genre I was looking for and it was free

I loved that it kept my attention. Even during the slower parts. The ending was interesting as well.

It’s just OK

The author did a just OK job at describing the details of what was happening. To me the cover of the book looks like a doll, but the book is not about a doll. It was OK though not horrible. Narrator did OK.

The story was awesome for my favorite genre is a really good ghost story! The narrator was just awesome! She really brings the story alive; we enjoyed it sooo much!

Steady Progression, Swift Unraveling

While I'm not much of a horror fan, this was a good example of an underrated book. In the beginning and most of the middle, the story had more of a suspense/psychological thriller vibe before ending into an unraveling ghost story. This was a story that captures all the senses, most particularly, of the human mind debating whether you're following instinct or descending into madness.

Narrative performance was well done.

A Good Ghost Story…But More About The Ghost Needed

I enjoyed this book. The character development and plot line exposition really would have benefited from a gripping historical preface— perhaps the experience of one of the previous haunted family members. Instead, there really wasn’t any action until the very end, which made for a slower, not-so-interesting story in the middle of the book.

The ending was good, though. I didn’t guess what was coming, and it’s always nice to be surprised. I just wish that more details of the ‘hidden truth’ and its supernatural resolution had been shared by the author before the story’s end.

All in all, it’s a good read. I just wish I wasn’t left feeling as though some parts were missing.

This Would Be A Great Movie

Best haunted mystery I have listened to in a while. I don't listen mysteries much but I saw this and thought it would be interesting. Boy was I right. I was wrapped up in it in the first 20min. I haven't been able to stop listening. I would say give it a listen.

I really liked the whole book! I didn't know what was going to happen or ' who dun-it" it was a total suprise

Good story line

Family lineage a little confusing at first. However it became the “twist” of the plot. Kept my attention
