down to earth Buddhism

I've listened to several Buddhist books recently, alan watts has been great for entertaining philosophy. Tich Nat Hahn has been great for Buddhism from a modern monk.

this was a great perspective from a more everyday person. It was well written and had good insight

Unexpected

At first, I thought "who is this kid?", and ended with "wow, enlightenment is a journey"

Having finished Meditations by Marcus Aurelius before starting this book, I still had the "father figure" imprint in my mind of who I can listen to. My own misconceptions almost made me miss out on the amazing content of this book

This is my third Audible by Lodro. He narrates beautifully and I love his books! So much insight on becoming a better person.

great info for living daily life

Easy to listen to, interesting, practical info. I found this to be wonderful information on how to live as a Buddhist in the modern world.

Worth listening too but..

It was mostly good and interesting but The author contradicts himself considering he helped Obama win twice even though Obama screwed over several middle eastern countries and American soldiers.

A great book to answer about day-to-day life for Buddhist life

very useful and detailed, answered about situations in normal life if you wish to act with kindness and wisdom or you find yourself in a moral dilemma.
