Nerd and hot cop romance!

For those that enjoy a good cute nerd and the hot cop that falls first, this one is perfect for you! It has all the feels of a great love combined with some suspenseful angst and of course fantastic steamy scenes. Loved it all! Must read/listen!

Lovely, heartwarming and steamy

I sincerely don't understand why people were so critical in their reviews. They were so negative I only ended up reading because my OCD won't let me skip a book in a series. I'm glad I did, because the book was great and so was the narration.
It threw me off initially, because there was already a Gabriel in this series and these characters were not tangentially introduced in previous books, but honestly, the only thing I wish was different about this book was its length. I would have liked a deeper look at the characters, more banter, more interactions with family and friends, more sex scenes. Though the scene with the manties was super hot.

Loved this!

This was a really well constructed book and I loved everything about it. I’m looking forward to listening to it again.

Conflict

Liked it. Didn’t think I would. I liked the suspense with hostage taking. I like the narrators. They did very well.

Oh the yearning!

I love when characters have strong chemistry but it still takes a while for them to get together, and Alec and Gabe have this in spades! I enjoyed the voice performances as well—good quality and good editing!

Alec and Gabe…

It’s like one book will be slow and boring then the next is quick and funny…this one was fun! Great narration and kept me tuned in.

Pauses

Fun story, perhaps the approach to investigating the crime is more lighthearted than the subject would call for.
The narrator has fun comedic timing. The only stumbling block for me is that there is often NO pause for silence between scenes, so it takes a lot longer for the reader to realize there was a scene change, than it should.

Oldie but Goodie

Though it has been a story I read before, in so many ways, this book left me wanting for more! Romance still alive!

Different from the others!

Gabe and Alec were cute!

This one definitely gave a different vibe than the other books in this series so far, but I kind of liked that! It had a bit of mystery and action and helped get the flow fast paced. Part of the plot was definitely predictable but overall the story was cute.

So Much Fun!

I very much enjoyed this story. It was light and fun, and I like knowing what the characters are thinking. Both characters were reflective and mostly logical. They were aware of themselves and their quirks, strengths, and weaknesses. They revealed those traits in a way that I found funny and engaging. If you're looking for a happy little jaunt with a little action, lots of romance, and a HEA, this listen is for you.
