A must have

Even though 48 hours holds a special place for me, this 2nd book 📖 I’ve listened from Donna Jay is great one! I loved how the MC made mistakes, yet they stood up and faced the music as the saying goes and made things right! Just loved the flow of the book and really didn’t want it to end. Cat Gould did an amazing job. For everyone who is doubting, This is a definite listen and a must have!

someone remembers Lip Service. I think Cat Gould does a good job with voices, but she frequently reads emotional scenes with a flat voice. the characters aren't, but the narration is. I only took one star from performance because she did a great job a majority of the time.

I loved it. Great HEA with fabulous characters. Low angst, some sexy love scenes and Cat Gould was FABULOUS!

A wonderful surprise

I didn’t know what to expect from the books description but it intrigued me and I love me some lesbian drama. I enjoyed Sadie so much and was really rooting for her, she was funny at the worst times but it just made sense. Both characters balanced each other so well and it was a fun ride. Performance 10 outta 10.

A Wonderful Story!!!!!

Donna Jay delivers a well written story that kept my attention throughout the entire book. Witty, thoughtful, and engaging, the entire story is filled with interesting and likeable characters that make you root for them until the very end. Cat Gould performs brilliantly as always, and brings each character and scene into vivid detail. This book is well worth the read!

Good book

It is always good Le listen to a different story from different places and different accents. The story was well written with good MC and narration was excellent.

Slow Burn Romance With Bigger Themes

A great slow burn romance with an underlying theme of to err is human. In several instances in the story characters make mistakes and have to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and get on with life. You also see them taking the fallout from their actions with grace, making amends and putting in the work to earn back trust and forgiveness.
I loved Cat Gould's narration, and having read the ebook before listening, was pleasantly surprised by how closely she portrayed the characters to what I had imagined while reading. This is definitely an audiobook I could see myself listening to again.

First time author for me and I have to say - Wow! This was really good!

I really felt for Sadie when she was going through her rough patch in the beginning. Thank goodness she met Victoria in time and offered her a muck needed job. Without giving away too much, I think the way things happened between them had to happen due to the complicated situationship they created.

Also, what I thought was clever was splitting the book in 2 parts with a different POV for each. I loved that. The narration was excellent as well 👏👏👏
