even better than the first

the ending was crazy! really can't wait to see what happens next. I loved how all the teammates are developing. they aren't you everyday classes that you read about.

Story gets better and can get tires of the voice acting can wait to start the next one

Great performance of a decent LitRPG

When it came time for a refresher on this series I was glad to see who was voicing the Audiobooks. Great job

I finished both books in 2 days it's an amazing Journey 100% Recommended Litrpg is becoming my new fav Genre real Quick

Totally on par with "The Land" Litrpg

If you love Litrpg, then you will love this book. Memorable characters, great powers, awesome story, fantastic narrator. This book has it all. Total 5 star book across the board. Get this book!

Interesting quests and new characters

This book contains a lot of friendship building along with a near death quest for Dakkon and his companions. While Dakkon is the lead character, Kevin Murphy decides to spend time highlighting the many skills of the team players which worked to make them more interesting than simple sidekicks. Even though Dakkon does acquire new skills and innovative ways to enhance them, his story arc somewhat languishes in this book in terms of moving forward on a purposeful goal, other than finding the game more appealing than his real life.

Nick Podehl's narrating performance is still a pleasure to experience.

A series of wonderful side-quests

In this book, you'll find more world-building and character development which is nice, but I felt like it was missing something that made me go 'wow'. I liked it enough that I'll buy the next book whenever that's released, but something about this tournament and the POV of one of the antagonists that you meet in the Book 1 just wasn't interesting to me. I felt like it wasn't really valuable or necessary to the progression of the story so far - perhaps if it was summarized into one section versus constantly revisiting I would have found it more pleasurable.

Anyways, Nick Podehl did a great job (as usual) and he's 90% of the reason I'll give this series one more go.

Love this series

Great story and great reading. Love how one person can cover such a variety of voice tones and accents to help tell a great story :D

Good listen

Not Quite as good as the first but still a good listen. I'm looking forward to the next. This one just goes to show not to listen to all bad reviews.
