Fun short listens

There’s not much world building in these books, mainly focused on how each couple met. The AI reader is hard to listen to because it has no vocal inflections and does not have a different tone for different characters in conversations so sometimes it’s hard to follow along and keep up with who is speaking. The stories are cute but too short.

Hate the AI Reader

The story isn't bad but absolutely HATE the AI reader. There's no difference in character voices, no feeling, it's like listening to your GPS tell you a story. No issues with the story or author but would have liked it much better with an actual person reading it.

the storyline itself is great.

the storyline is great however, the lack of different between characters in conversations. it's hard to keep up and get lost in the characters when there is no separation in tone, attitude, or style of the characters due to virtual reading opposed to a real reader. I suggest that the virtual voicing should be improved to reflect emotions and different tone for different characters. I fell that virtual voicing is a DISSERVICE to the story AND TO THE ARTHUR'S hard work and passion that goes into a work of art.

AI readers need massive improvements, No closure to the stories!!!

So the AI narration is just awful. I struggled keeping track of who was talking and interpreting nuances that AI just doesn’t get. It takes you out of the story every few minutes. Very frustrating and definitely shouldn’t be for any books needing a credit.

But the stories never had closure. The first three books were great. They made you feel like all the books would combine to form a main story beginning to end. But no story actually came to a satisfying end. The couples got together, but the main storyline wasn’t finished. At all!! That was the only reasons I continued to listen, I hoped it would conclude. But each story got sloppier and sloppier, like the author was tired of writing. “2 months later” was a continuing theme after the first 3 books where the main character development was skipped over with the author stating a timeline. You went from characters becoming friends to almost instantly, “I love you, let’s get pregnant”.

Seriously disappointed in these books. They had potential but I think the author was lazy, and probably used AI for more than just the narrator.

AI reading sucks, but stories are good

This would’ve been much better with a human reading the books instead of AI. It was hard to discern who was saying what lines half the time, and there was no emotion behind the reading. I liked the stories but would’ve been much better with a different reader.

Loved these books.

I enjoyed all the books. She put a lot of though in these books. I also liked Virtual voices.

Delightfull Characters and Tale

i especially enjoyed the humor. I would prefer it without the one and only episode of "steam."

Variety of characters, true to form

Stories constantly moved in clever progression, alternating plots and unexpected outcomes. Truly a pleasure in anticipation of “what’s next” thinking

the first 3 chapters were very good would have loved to learn more about them

the last 11 chapters were not as good the characters were all the same. They were all boring
