Just like with the first book, take the trigger warnings seriously because this book is even heavier than the first. This book will break you. In every way.

Such an emotional ride

The series was one I didn't expect to like as much as I did. It was a roller coaster of feelings chapter by chapter.

Good but heartbreaking

Its been a month since i’ve finished the torment series and I still can’t get it out of my mind.

The ending! The Authors note at the end

Honestly in the middle of this book I was thinking it was dragging on and on. Then the last 2 chapters and the authors notes!! I was crying, and had goosebumps! Read it!

wow!

the second part was way better than the first. That ending, I didnt see coming, no spoilers but wow! How the author made me not be able to stop listening, and then made me fall for the characters in the last two hours, was wonderful.

WHAT

That... that was not how I was expecting this story to end. I typically don't listen to the author's notes at the end of the book but after that one I definitely needed to because I mean... what!? Cannot argue with a single thing the author said but... what?!

I wish I could say more about this book but I really can't without giving anything huge away - just know that you will be on a roller coaster of emotions and may not know how you feel when you read that last sentence.

Shay

I am heartbroken and in disbelief. I feel sad and wish a different outcome for Shay.

The emotional rollercoaster I didn’t know I needed

This might be the most beautiful story I’ve ever read. It was emotional and it was tragic but the character development and storyline was addicting. These characters will always have a special place in my heart

Absolute perfection!! The narrators are perfect. The story was perfect and my heart is healed with a lot of tears

This duet will live with me forever.

I can almost promise myself that. How beautiful and tragic and all the things I needed in a book. A true 6-star ⭐️ read/listen! For my dark romance lovers, do not sleep on this story.
