Acerca de esta escucha

Roboute Guilliman has broken the orkish advance that threatened Fenris, but an ancient foe has returned to threaten the very heart of humanity—the Segmentum Solar.

Listen to it because...

Guy Haley continues the riveting story of the Indomitus Crusade as it sweeps across the galaxy, still reeling from the opening of the Great Rift.

The story:

The Indomitus Crusade continues its war across the stars. The primarch Roboute Guilliman has finally broken through the orkish threat bedevilling the sectors near Fenris, and makes ready to push on his bid to stabilise the Imperium Sanctus—but old and bitter foes stand in his way.

Kor Phaeron, the Dark Cardinal, threatens the previously stable core of the Segmentum Solar. Waves of rebellion instigated by his infiltrating priests suggest an imminent, large-scale invasion by the Word Bearers Legion. Worse yet, the Dark Cardinal's warriors are targeting the Black Ships, threatening to starve Terra of the pyskers the Emperor needs to survive.

Through this turbulent warzone, Inquisitor Rostov continues his search for the Hand of Abaddon. Yet when strange, miraculous visions are traced back to the astropathic relay on Srinagar, his quest is diverted—for the visions foretell hope for the Imperium, a hope the fanatical worshippers of Chaos will do anything to snuff out....

Lo que los oyentes dicen sobre Throne of Light

Con calificación alta para:

The Audiobook Continues The Overarching Storyline Of The Dawn Of Fire Series, Following The Events Of The Indomitus Crusade And The Various Factions Involved, Such As Space Marines, Inquisitors, And The Black Templars. While The Plot Development Is Praised For Setting Up Intriguing Future Events And Continuing Character Arcs From Previous Books, Some Reviews Criticize The Pacing As Being Too Slow With A Lack Of Payoff. The Storytelling Is Described As Both Coherent And Engaging By Some, But Also Convoluted And Unsatisfying By Others, Particularly Regarding The Climax. Overall, The Book Seems To Serve As A Buildup For Future Installments In The Series.

An ok book.

Just doesnt rise to the level of the others but ok. Nothing too important either.

Haley is solid

Guy Haley puts out consistently good content and this is no exception. It’s a little disjointed in parts but overall a solid story. I like John Banks and I think he does a great job voicing 40K content.

More of the same winning recipe

Fun little continuation of the series that paints a new light on the nature of firstborn marines’ hesitation of accepting the primaris, and a warming modern day tribute to the original ‘star child’ lore of oldhammer. Worth the read!

Excellent continuin story of the Invictus Crusade

Great story, excellent characters and recorded masterfully.
Each character sounded unique and identifiable. Several storyline intertwined to a satisfactory conclusion.

The star child

Black Library is sowing the seeds of the star child in the narrative at last.

John Banks is awful

story was decent. John Banks remains terrible. He has two voices that he uses for every character, and every charscter has the same inflection.

story line

enjoyed the story line. The narrator does a really good job. can't wait to see what else is in store with this series.

Better than the last

better than the last but, man, this story moves at a snails pace. performance is fine, but the story doesn't engender much love for the characters. it's like they are marking time right now, or something.

A better fourth entry.

a solid Dawn of fire book with decent character expansions and revisiting old characters. The story was interesting and coherent, with some lack luster battle bits at the end, but overall still a recommended addition to the Dawn of fire series.
