I can’t get over the raw talent of Michael Lesley’s narration in bringing Michele Notaro’s colourful world to life! every character had its own personality and cadence… the range of voices was just awe inspiring! I felt like I was listening to a radio play! A queer soap opera full of fae, shifters, witches, magic battles! Heists! Fated mates! And a mysterious matchmaking coin that appears from nowhere! Absolutely captivating! PHENOMENAL listen! This title gave me all the feels, I couldn’t stop listening!

Awesome Story & Narration🎧Magically Captivating!

Michele Notaro pens another amazing novel, an urban fantasy mm romance novel that is magical, one that grabs your attention and captivates it the entire. I am a newcomer to this magical world, and am usually hesitant to jump into an existing world, especially paranormal ones, but since this is a standalone in a multi-author series and an author whose detailed and descriptive writing are fantastic, that it would not be an issue and I was right, I never felt lost or if something was missing. Remi, a wolf shifter, runs a security business in Brinnswick and, looking to expand his business, he moved with three of his closest friends to another country, Gauhala, to open up offices there. Out and about, he sees him, Bel, and he feels an instant attraction to him and oddly, there is a magical coin that pulls them together, more than once. Bel is fae and in Gauhala the people do not treat fae well, and they look down on them, and that is not how it is where Remi is from, so he treats him as he should be, like an equal. Bel is reluctant and untrusting, but Remi does not give up on him and Bel realizes he is for real and there is an undeniable chemistry between them. Except Bel is hiding a secret, one he knows will ruin everything for him. This cleverly plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The writing, world building and character development are amazing and there are a lot of layers to the story. Michele Notaro, thank you for another fabulous story.

🎧📚🎧   Michael Lesley did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who he was portraying, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’s emotions and had you feeling them all. Lesley is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for the fabulous listen.

An absolutely brilliant series that I was eagerly waiting to get my hands on. Very interesting new world with complex new characters.

great world building

This is a great introduction to the Gauhala spin off and world. I love how this world is nowhere near perfect in fact is perfectly horrible for some people. Enter Remmy who just wants to keep people safe and if he cares for those people.. well..
Michael Lesley does a great job of making the characters identifiable and distinct.

outstanding character voices

I was excited to experience Bel and Remi's story with Michael Lesley's narration. He's outstanding with character voices. This book offers the opportunity for unique and fun voices and accents. It was an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

An enjoyable listen

Enjoyed listening to this story. The characters were unique and well rounded with interesting storylines.

I enjoy this action adventure. There was intense moments and excitement around every corner. I also liked the main characters and think they flow together beautifully. The Narrator was perfect for this story.

Immersive Narration

This was a fun story. The narration was awesome. I was engaged the whole time.

Wonderful narration!

This is the second book in the Fortune Favors the Fae series. I do love a multi author series! I have not read any other books by this author but this was highly entertaining. Remi is a sweet cinnamon roll and Bel just doesn’t know what hit him when they meet. This was a sweet story of fated mates and an eerie fae coin! I saw there are plans for more books in Guahala so I’m going to have to stay tuned! Michael Leslie is an amazing narrator and did such a great job! I especially loved his accent for Bel.

Great listen

I read the story when it came out and I had really enjoyed it so I was excited to see that it came out on audio as well. I love the book the series was great they were obviously some books I love more than others this one was probably at the top of the list so I was very excited that it came out on audiobook. I thought the narrator did a great job with this book between giving each character their own traits and courts and all the bits and Bobs that you love but not only that but they had this way of making you feel like you were in the story.
