I usually spend my credits on longer stories but I am so glad I picked this one up. Cute story, enjoyable characters, and good dialogue with several laugh out loud moments. Great narrator too. It was such a fun read I finished it in a day, and promptly got book 2.

In AJ Sherwood’s Fated Mates, vampires are an accepted and integrated species into human society. I like it! Lot’s less violence. I also liked the chill but passionate way Ronin pursues his mate. There’s some good humor in the character interactions too.
Very good narration.

This was really good. The growth of the characters worked well even if the story moved really fast. the spice was on point. I like that we didn't get a lot of vampire lore explained but I was surprised we stuck with modern-ish vamps and they were just accepted into society without fuss. It's nice reading the romance for the romance and the paperwork being more important than the politics.
