Loved it

This story was a lot of fun. Miles and Winter stile my heart in the best way. Sola too! And those kids! I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. Zachary Zaba did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Hilarious and Cute!

Miles, who owns a magical pest company, and is known for his humane catch and release policy, gets called into remove a gnome infestation at a ginormous mansion. The kicker? Miles is terrified of gnomes!

With the aid of his former high school crush turned neighbor, Winter, who just so happens to work for a rival pest control company, the two uncover a curse on the house that has turned the normally docile gnomes into angry little psychos.

Honestly, this was seriously so cute and fun! Miles and Winter were precious, and I loved that their story was a blend of sweet romance and magical mystery.

Cannot wait for more of this series!

Did It Have To Be Gnomes?! is the first book in the Carry A Faerie series. This is the story of Miles and Winter. I loved this book so much because the characters are so real. I loved the unique idea of fairy type creatures being pests and Miles running a humane exterminator service. This was just a fun book overall. I loved the world building and characters. I can't wait for the next book in the series so I can learn more about Miles and River. Michele Notaro is an amazing author and I look forward to the next book in the series. If you get the audio narration, Zachary Zaba does a wonderful job of narrating this book. He makes the change in characters seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this book.

Such a cute story with a lot of heart

Both Zachary Zaba and Michele Notaro nailed it with this one. I absolutely adored Miles and Winter. Miles has taking on a big job trying to get gnomes out of an extremely large house. He asks Winter to help as Winter has experience as an exterminator. It was nice that while these two knew each other in high school, they weren't that close. It gave them time to learn who the other person was while on the job. Of course, more happens that's unexpected but this unlikely team with a few other bonus side characters was truly special. I loved how both Winter and Miles wanted to take care of Chaos and his brother. This is a well paced, super fun story with amazing characters. Zachary did an awesome job of bringing them back to life. This one is not to be missed and I can't wait for more!

Gno Gnomes for me either

I had read this book when it came out and I enjoyed listening to it read by Zackary Zaba. It made me laugh even more than when I read it. Those meeps were really fun.

Completely Entertaining

So many twists and turns!! I absolutely enjoyed every single second of ‘DIHtBG’ and canNOT wait for the second installment of this new series!!

A great book

I loved the banter and funny nicknames between Miles and Winter. They are a great couple and work well together during difficult times. The world building and magic in this book is interesting. I enjoyed the secondary characters and hope to see them in other books in the series. I wasn't able to put the book down with all the twists and turns that kept popping up throughout the book.

Unexpected and Hilarious

This was such a fun read. I had not read this author before and I am so glad I got to read this one. This aas such a fun paranormal adventure from start to finish. I had such a good time with this one. I adore Myles and Winter and the whole found family. Also that plot twist at the end surprised me. Thisnwas so good. The narration was amazing and added so much characterization which was lovely.

Magical Mystery Romance with Banter All Around!

I have to say this was a very clever magical mystery romance. Yes, it really was all three along with a lot of witty banter between these two very different guys and a side character Lyric. I really admired Miles, he is an empath, and he has issues with being touched. I cannot imagine what kind of life that would be. Trying to grow up set apart like that. I was glad that the object of his affection Winter was a protective kind of guy. He wanted to take care of Miles during their investigation of these invaders! Series is going to be fun and unique. Definitely my first Gnome adventure! I have to say Zachary Zaba as always brought the fantasy personalities of these characters.
