Where is book 2?

This book was so good but I need the second one ASAP. This is definitely a wish list book if you’re waiting for the second one to come out.

Check, check, and double check.

Rhya, the FMC, is unaware of her power and this story follows her self-discovery and developing her strengths, as she defends a kingdom and forms a family she never expects.

The Wind Weaver is a great start to the series. Detailed but easy to follow world building sets the tone and creates a solid skeleton. However, I felt there is still a lot of this story that is left to tell. Lots of questions raised, but the surface barely scratched for answers.
I hope book 2 will delve deeper into fill in the blanks; to add more depth to the history.

I’ve read many of Julie Johnson’s Contemporary romance titles. They hit you in the heart, and based on same, I look forward to reading how the rest of this series will unfold.

I need more!

The world building in this book was incredible! The character development was great, the burn was SO slow, and my girl JJ is so good at banter, I love it! I almost regret reading/listening to this as soon as it released, because now I have to wait for the next book lol. I can’t wait!

First Fae book and it did not disappoint, I can not wait for the next book !

Slow start, strong finish

Once you get through the first third, the pace picks up. It’s a very slow burn, but enjoyable. Interesting world building. The narrator was ok but sometimes the tine didn’t quite match up with what I thought it would be

Fantastic book! The plot, the characters, the premise, the elemental magic! Been looking forward to this book for awhile and it doesn’t disappoint!

feels like a back story for book 2

I mostly enjoyed the read. It did begin to drag a bit in the middle. By the end it got more exciting. I think it could be like ACOTAR where book 1 was mostly a good setup for book 2.

Definitely worth your credit!

If you are looking something that keeps you up at night because you just can t stop listening.. go no farther! This was one of the best books I ve listened to in quite some time! Just enough spice where you get the picture an don t have to endure each sexual encounter play by play feeling like a voyeur on a couples intimate moments an plenty of action magic tragedy all combined to make you just want more and more!!

A little predictable... And annoying

I didn't care for the narrator too much. Her voice was a bit whiny, and it grated over time. I found that it made the FMC seem more whiny too, which was distracting.

The plot was fine, pretty entertaining, if a bit predictable at times. The pacing was a bit of an issue for me. I just didn't quite believe the feelings developing between the two main characters, it was really fast in regards to the actual time spent together in the book, but it also dragged on... And the banter between them was really annoying a lot of the time. I didn't think they had that much chemistry.

Spoiler alert!

The MMC is so clearly supposed to be a kind of Tamlin character, it was so obvious almost from the start. It really annoys me when authors seem to reuse characters like that, just changing them a bit, and think readers/listeners won't notice. Also Soren is such a Rhys character... It was so frustrating to read the romance in this book knowing this...
