why did it ever have to end?!

Excuse me, while I type through the tears. This was, hands down, one of the lovliest books I've ever listened to. The narrator is, by far, the best at what she does. I will seek out more of her readings. There was a distinct difference in each characters voice., so you knew who was talking the entire time. her cadence was perfect. I enjoyed listening to her immensely. Now, to the book, my gosh. I would like to start with this is a mostly "non spoiler" review. I point out one possible rare trigger. I will say nothing but my over all feelings. There has only been one other "fairy fantasy" book that has been so gentle, that I've read. no awkwardly read "spicy" moments. no gore. no real triggering things (unless you have a fear of weather!) it was magically breathtaking. all of the characters were brought to life with their cheeky lines. I absolutely loved every bit of this. Completely cottagecore and I'm here for it. I seen rumors of there being a sequel. I would read that in a hummingbird's heartbeat! I cannot wait to get back to my new favorite people!

Very creative and fun. The voice actor was pleasant to listen to as well. Not spicy but romantic.

This story was so fun and whimsical and the narration is top tier, the voice for Caz is what caught me in the preview and the whole performance did not disappoint!

Wonderful story of finding your way home, found family, and unexpected love. There are tense moments and unexpected kindnesses - and just a perfectly cozy vibe throughout. Loved it!

Best book I’ve ever read.

It took me to a completely different world this is a book I could read 100 times over and over.

An Unexpected Treasure

This is an incredible book find! It’s filled with magic, self-discovery and growth, community, and kindness. I hope it’s just the first in a series.

I did have to slow the narration to .85 because she seemed to talk too quickly but that might be more a “me” issue so I could better savor the words.
