Good Story but The F Word could have been eliminat

It would have been an awesome book, but the author thought that he needed to put fowl language in it. It would have been just as good without it. I was embarrassed just sitting by myself reading it.

Good book, enjoyed it.

Only issue is the narrator. I don't tend to like narrators acting out parts, which she did. But, that is a personal preference.

Incredible!!!!

This was an amazing book. A little drawn out in the beginning, but so worth every minute ! Had me guessing, then guessing again. I had to suspend everything I was doing for the last 2 hours of this book. The writer is very original. And the reader is one of the best female voices I’ve heard in a long time. I listen to at least 2 books a week and it’s hard to find stories that keep my interest. This one did. I highly recommend.

Little did I know

I purchased this book because I needed a break from my historical fiction obsession. To my surprise it was extremely well written. Olsen's charters are all flawed, yet they are compelling. I'm almost never surprised by a mystery's ending. I was surprised, and can't stop thinking about why I didn't pick up on clues. I am eagerly awaiting the sequel.

Glad this was an audiobook...

The narrator definitely helped me get through this one! Nailed all the different characters! I wanted more details about what happened and felt a bit cheated but onto book 2 in hopes my questions are answered! Overall it was decent.

Excellent book and performance

I listen to a lot of audible books I almost never leave reviews.

I found this book excellent in every way. It grabbed my interest from the very beginning and kept my attention throughout.

When I thought the story was predictable it STILL kept me rapt and then took unexpected turns.

I like that it ended leaving me wanting more but at the same time I also felt the ending was too abrupt leaving the story and book incomplete.

I’ll def look for other books by both the author and narrator.

I really enjoyed this book. There were a lot of twists and turns. I have not read or listened to any other books by this author but I will be doing so again in the near future. I thought the characters were interesting and complex. The plot moved at a steady pace and keep me listening late into the night. I thought the narrator did a fantastic job as well. I would purchase another book she has read just because she is the one narrating it. I would highly recommend this book and narrator to others.

Loved how Nicole as damaged and broken she felt at times never gave up. She is definitely fierce. The story was intense and complex. The characters were developed so well. I vacillated many times who was responsible and was blown away at the end!
Narration was so great!

Interesting.

The stories protagonist is a little to troubled to be believable. She is plagued by bad decisions and in the end stays true to form.

Amazing! Can’t wait for Book 2!
