Excellent author and narrator.

These books read very much like true crime. If you enjoy podcasts about true crime you will love this author!

Mixed feelings

The narration was great, but the story rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t like that Liz took so long to figure out her husband. And Charlie’s mom was a little too cold. All the characters were just too shady for my taste.

A novel about trying to escape guilt

There’s a terrible accident and the main character is trying and failing to deal with her guilt though there’s a thin overarching mystery. Honestly the main character is hard to listen to, always breaking down. I prefer strong female leads but it’s understandable considering her emotional nature. For someone who attended law school she lacks common sense or legal education. She keeps saying she wants to do the right thing but never ever does. The story doesn’t build or grow it’s relative up and downs on a flatline but still entertaining enough for the stars.

Suspenseful story

This story was excellently narrated. The plot was good although it did seem somewhat drawn out. Easily could have ended this 100 pages sooner. Still, another good suspenseful story.

Pretty good!

I'm not sure how realistic it might be, but then again, it's meant to be entertainment, not nonfiction! I enjoyed it! Without giving anything away, I was amazed that anyone would be capable of handling a similar situation in such an odd manner ~ but that may be exactly what draws one in.....

Page turner

This book was great. A completely different story line. The characters were intriguing both good and bad. Glad I listened to it

No definitive ending

I have loved all of the authors previous books but this one not so much. Also I despise books without an ending. Overall I thought the characters were a bunch of whiny selfish individuals.

This book had me hooked..

What a great story, never a boring moment just a very detailed storyline. the narrator truly gave every character a voice and expressed their feelings in a believable way. Enjoy the narrator she made the book very enjoyable.

Great surprise ending!

Narrator did a nice job of distinguishing between characters. Loved the book! Highly recommend it!

📚Honest Review📚

Once more Gregg Olsen delivered a story full of plot twists, suspense and drama. An overwhelming choice of words gave life to four characters who keep the reader hanging by a thread.

A missing boy, an accident and a cover up that leads to a spider web where the worse of every character comes to light.

A relentless police office who plays by the book make this story even more appealing. She provides a moral frame the other characters seem to have forgotten.

A woman, who never lost track of her actions and does not want to live with herself, knowing what she caused.

Brilliant story and definitively a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
