INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The world’s most celebrated thriller writer and author of The Da Vinci Code returns with his most stunning novel yet—a propulsive, twisty, thought-provoking masterpiece that will entertain audiences as only Dan Brown can do.

Robert Langdon, esteemed professor of symbology, travels to Prague to attend a groundbreaking lecture by Katherine Solomon—a prominent noetic scientist with whom he has recently begun a relationship. Katherine is on the verge of publishing an explosive book that contains startling discoveries about the nature of human consciousness and threatens to disrupt centuries of established belief. But a brutal murder catapults the trip into chaos, and Katherine suddenly disappears along with her manuscript. Langdon finds himself targeted by a powerful organization and hunted by a chilling assailant sprung from Prague’s most ancient mythology. As the plot expands into London and New York, Langdon desperately searches for Katherine . . . and for answers. In a thrilling race through the dual worlds of futuristic science and mystical lore, he uncovers a shocking truth about a secret project that will forever change the way we think about the human mind.

Reseñas de la Crítica

“Intellectual fuel.... [The Secret of Secrets is] a wistful testament to the power of the printed word.” New York Times

“Like so many things that are insanely popular.... Brown’s thrillers look easy to imitate but aren’t. He shatters dramatic moments into shiny, irresistible shards.... Dan Brown clearly had fun writing his new book. It’s contagious.” Washington Post

“A master of the brainy, twisty thriller.... [Dan Brown's] novels move with kinetic energy, his plots are intricate puzzles shrouded in religious iconography [and] ancient cryptography. The Secret of Secrets is perhaps his most ambitious undertaking yet: a dense thriller that is also a meditation on the nature, and the possible future, of human consciousness.” Los Angeles Times

Editorial Review

The wait is over
After nearly eight years, Dan Brown returns with another thrilling addition to his legendary Robert Langdon series. This time, the professor is in Prague to attend a lecture by noetic scientist Katherine Solomon—a woman he’s also newly dating. The action kicks off quickly with a murder and then a disappearance. From there, the gripping plot spans both continents…and consciousness. Brown’s talent for immediately sucking you into the plot has only strengthened in his near-decade off, and the science explored—along with Brown’s disclaimer at the top of the book that all science and experiments you’ll hear about are real—is chilling. Performed by series narrator Paul Michael, I can safely say The Secret of Secrets was worth the wait.—Katie O., Audible Editor

Great book. I am glad he followed up on the Noetic discussion from the previous book with an additional twist. I’m interested how true the theory is.

Dan Brown still has me Googling.

Dan Brown hits another one out of the park with this fascinating novel addressing a topic that has captivated people for ages.

Fascinating read

It feels very much like the other Robert Langdon books. I’m glad certain aspects of his life are coming together, but the ending was too cleanly wrapped up. Still, I’ll probably read/listen to it again so I give it five stars. The narration was on point as always!

Finally….but also too clean (Spoilers)

First, like most people I am always ready to read every new Dan Brown release. And the topic of this one was very exciting - both the science and the fiction of it, loved all of that. I think my draw back on this one is that I felt like this was the “Lost Symbol” actor version of Robert Langdon. I am having a hard time deciding which one I like best, the real Robert Langdon or the in love version; tough one!
Nice touch with quoting my actual favorite Dan Brown novel, Digital Fortress - “who will guard the guards?” Always a good question!
And finally, Paul Michael should read all of the books so I can re-listen, absolute best voice actor!

Great topic, ok storyline

Loved it. Dan Brown always writes such well crafted, well researched books. Love the twists that are such an important part of the story.

Dan Brown is an excellent story teller. This one was especially easy to listen to with edge of your seat chapters that kept me listening much longer into the evening than I had meant to. I found myself stopping mid chapter sometimes to investigate details about the story. Thanks for another great one.

A great Langdon story!

The relevance of the subject is paramount in these troubled times of our afflicted human race. As usual, crafted with clockwork precision and efficacy.

Brown’s finest, rivaling with The Da Vinci Code

Loved this book and was so happy to see it come out. Good story, interesting concept, well narrated, and overall excellent. I hope there are more in the future!

Another great book in the Langdon series

The plot is far too ordinary for Dan Brown's level. There is no excitement. There is nothing to make you want to turn the page.

The narration is successful, and the transitions between different characters are well done.

Disappointment

Yet again, since my first read of Mr. Browns work 'Angels and Demons' he has spoken to my soul. Such quality speaks of the author's adoration for the art of storytelling, and his sincerity torwards his readers.
