Great... until the end

This series continues to be a pretty unique and intense take on an isekai cultivation story. Good narration, solid writing, decent characters. The story is moving a bit too fast here, but Book 2 would have been a 5/5 if not for the last 2 hours. Without getting into spoilers, the end ranges between convoluted to outright stupid (Power of Friendship... ffs). Very rapid power scaling then arbitrary nerfs for his final duel, followed by more rapid power growth. There a lot of underlying good here and I'm very interested in seeing him building his village, mix old tech and magic, and investigate the mystery of the heavens. Hope it goes back to being a more even paced story in book 3.

Great book

This is a really good book and even better series. I’m really looking forward to the next book series. The author does a great job of the progression of the main characters. Not too fast but fast enough to keep me interested.

Whiplash

This book feels much more rushed than the first. it's impossible to truly track the MC's progress, as his abilities will skyrocket and immediately plumet just as quickly. there is much less focus on Labby and the other spirit beasts from the last book. It feels a lot less like an alchemist trying to spread knowledge and more like a traditional XianXia novel and I feel like the story suffers for it. It's still decent, but not what I was looking for in this series. I'm hoping the next book does better.

After waiting forever

This was a pretty good continuation. Who knew the power of friendship was a valid cultivation path.

Such a good cultivation novel!

It actually took me awhile to acclimatize to all the names and remember who everybody was and where they all fit into Krazekode's storyline. This book is how 🤔 I believe a cultivation novel should be written. Not like Enigma Daoist recent novel. Even Will Wight understands cultivation better than ED in his fantasy series Cradle. (Sorry I went off on my own tangent.) Anyway Lu Jie the main character discovers that he not only has'ta confront and fight people that don't want to accept the changes he's tying to implement but he needs to control the spirit tree growing within him.
And Pavi Proczko, wow he's outdone himself this time, leveling up!

Can't wait for book 3!!!

I have listened several times and continue to enjoy each time. I feel invested in the characters and want to hear what will happen next. The narrator, Pavi, knows his art. Providing a consistent and entertaining listen. Keep up the good work everyone. Tks.

Very good but short

Was a very good listen, just wish it was longer. Ya know what I’m sayin!? Words words words words

unique premise, bland exicution

1/4 of the book is the MC magnanimously telling young women not to talk to him so formally. There are some good "modern science in an issekai world" parts, but its all powered by happy coincidences. Everybody MC knows is either a "hidden master" or happens to hold some other secret that happens to perfectly fix whatever chemistry problem MC has.
