Buena narración con un toque woke

La narracion es muy buena, la historia nunca me acabo de atrapar y el tinte woke de inclusión lo hizo menos disfrutable, si no tienen nada que escuchar esto los puede entretener. Definitivamente no se siente como Rin Chupeko en the Bone witch

Great read!

The story is slow at first, but stay with it! It has crazy twists and turns. It’s scary, and dramatic, and sad, but well worth a good listen.

For the Scooby Doo fans

If your like me and miss the mystery machine then this book is for you. Kept me engaged from beginning to end. Fantastic listen!

Enchantingly Creepy

This book kept me on my toes, always wondering what secrets the main character and everyone else on the island were hiding! There were some good twists and turns along the way and I didn't quite see the ending unfolding the way it did. Loved the story and the narrator but did have to speed it up since the reading pace was a bit too slow for me personally. Definitely was not disappointed listening to this book!

some of this book made me physically cringe. I enjoyed every second. some of the characters were hard to keep track of and the audio performance could have been better. loved the dog!!!

This was an interesting story line. The curse and ritual was well thought out. But WHY does the plot have to include same sex relationship would have been fine without

Loved the story

If I have a complaint about this, it's that it seems like it was too rushed to get the story out. I don't mind waiting personally if I know it's worth it like for this book. There are times when the recording seems like it skips back or pauses long enough I had to make sure it was still playing. Please for the love of molasses if there's a way to move the copywrite info to the end of the story instead of dropping in durring chapter 2 I would greatly appreciate it. As for a complaint about how things are pronounced I believe personally that the narrator did great showing that people as much as we try don't always pronounce things correctly when visiting other cultures and it made it more real having the Americans making mistakes on the island name. Rin did an amazing job once again giving a creepy awsome story I can wait to read it again the unexpected twist I loved just like The Girl From The Well and The Suffering

lots of twist and turns

I really enjoyed this horror fiction. I felt it lived up to its review unlike most that list themselves in the genre of horror and are not. I throughly enjoyed the narrator as well and felt he did an outstanding job 👏

Decent but not standout

This was an entertaining listen, but was predictable. I did enjoy the concepts behind the waking god on the island and the interaction with the filming cast/crew

Recording needs a re-edit

The book itself was okay. I enjoyed their other books more, but they can't all be bangers. My issue is with the edit on the recording. There were many times throughout the reading that the voice actor would do a take and then clearly read the line again to correct a mistake or to give different inflection and all of that was left in the final cut.
