the story was surprisingly well written

I was not expecting how well written/interesting the story was. it held my interest throughout!!

This storyline got really strange at the end.

I think the only reason I finished this book is because I wanted to know how it would end.

Teenage love story, wrong man, gone wrong...

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not for me. In the first line of the book description it says a "NA paranormal fantasy"..Ok, didn't really know that NA was New Adult. What? I thought that was Young Adult? Well I'm an old adult and the book rambles on about teenage feelings, and popular vs. nerd, and I've always loved him, oh yeah and someone is a serial rapist and there are some really incompetent immortals hanging around.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The story in the description is very interesting. This is not that story. This story is about a teenage girl who made some bad decisions and has even worse luck.
