I really enjoyed the story and found it wet interesting. If you enjoy a history with a fictional twist this story is for you.

A great historical novel!!

This novel did a great job with bringing, what could be, cold facts into a living story line. This window into a pivotal part of American History comes alive with this story. And as an added bonus, each chapter ends with fun historical tidbits. Here’s a very Real telling of a Riflemans life.

Concise and informative, written with periodic accuracy and wit.
I thoroughly enjoyed this depiction of hardship, endurance and patriotism.

awesome little history lesson also patriotism

this is an absolutely awesome book her history I've never heard before. I was a marine so appreciate it the marksmanship ship and the hard hard endeavors these folks endures. God bless our country. we need more patriots like this today

A good Patriot book

This book is very well written and even more enjoyable to listen too. I found it entertaining and extremely educational. Only complaint is a lot of information is repeated numerous times. I recommend you give it a listen

Worth the credit - Good history

Worth the credit - Good history. It's a little slow in places but really quite good.

Impressive

This is my first experience reading a book by Oliver North. The book is a historical novel. It is a story about the Revolutionary War. I recognized many of the heroes of the war such as George Washington, Daniel Morgan and General Arnold Knox. Our protagonist is Nathaniel Newman. The story ranges over the East Coast from Pennsylvania and Virginia to the New England States.

The book is well written and researched. There is action and lots excitement. It was hard to put the book down. Also, included in the story is a good dose of history. I am impressed with the writing skills of North and recommend this book.

The book is nine hours and nine minutes. Pater Bradbury and Jonathan Todd Ross do a good job narrating the book. Bradbury is an actor and audiobook narrator and Ross is a voice actor and audiobook narrator.

A Great Read

This is how all historical fiction should be written. Brought a saga to radiant life.

I enjoyed this book emensly. but other than that he married Marie, what happened to Nathaniel the stories main character?

What great story hearing a first hand account of those involved in the Revolutionary war. Really makes you grateful for our freedoms
