Disappointing and unsatisfying

Why use one of the best male narrator voices out there, only to force us to listen to a nasally, in and out British accent, female voice attempting to sound like a male voice while reading the male lines (her voice was fine for the female character). I don't care if the chapters are from her perspective. The male lines should be his and the female lines hers, regardless of the chapter POV. So, instead of steamy dirty talk from one of the best voices in the biz, it was disappointing, nasally, smoker, used car salesman vibe that just made it ick, only made worse, by the fact that most of the steamy bits were in gross voice.
