Beyond Fantome

The second in the City of Fantome series was even better than the first. The expansion of the world that was so beautifully built, the character development, the political intrigue, and the magic combined to make this a great set up for the next book. I will admit that I thought this was a duology so I'm very excited we will get to inhabit this world some more. The first half of the book had a more leisurely pace, but the back half was fast, action packed, and full of surprises. We get all of our favorite characters back with an addition of a few more. I can't wait to see where the story will go from here.
