Narration 50/50

The female narrator has a nice voice, but her word enunciations and inflections were off AND her mispronunciation of simple words was very distracting in the story. Teddy Hamilton, as always, is fantastic!!

new to books

this is my second book ever to read and listen to and I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I loved the spicy parts loved the ending. loved the narrators and story. everything was amazing. 10/10 chief kisses.

Good Story…

The female narrator’s male voices are horrible. Why can’t the male do all of the male parts. I know schedule the narrators simultaneously could be a problem but splice the narrations together. And there were mispronunciations by both narrators. Anyway I really liked the story and do recommend it.

Not my favorite but still good.

I love the MMC and I was very curious as to what his story would be like. I did not enjoy the FMC much. Maybe was the voice? I didn’t like the female performance and may be the reason why the FMC was kinda annoying to me.

I loved this book!

I loved this book even more than the first one in the series. The story is hot and the narrators are wonderful.

It’s not bad but I’m from Miami and we don’t talk like this. Yes we do say the occasional Mami but it’s not so often and it’s not really a Cuban thing. I hear it more from Dominicans. Also, a rich doctor is never living in little havana. If he has money in Miami he’s in Coral Gables. So that missed information is kind of throwing me off.

Great Story, okay female narrator

I love Teddy Hamilton to no end and this book was great, but I felt like the female narrator was a 15 year old. She sounded incredibly young and kept mispronouncing words…did no one notice in post production?

Mispronounced words

I cannot get past the way Ana Osario mispronounces words. Is there no one directing her performance? The story was good and Teddy Hamilton is solid but I will avoid books that she reads from now on.

Must read or a must listen!

This is such a funny book. Could not stop laughing, people started to looking at me funny.

Loved the story.

I loved Demi and Hunter’s story. Their chemistry and banter was off the charts. Thanks, Elle Kennedy for adding diversity in your writing. It’s nice to see everyone represented. It would have been nice to see more of Demi’s Afro Latino culture. Most African’s and Lantino really embrace and love their culture. Just a tiny bit of research would have given you insight on how to include that. I also wanted to see Hunter’s family and his relationship with his dad. But still the story was an amazing read and listen. It’s still a 5 star.
