New Narrator

The story, as usual, is outstanding. The performance however leaves one asking why we are switching narrators in mid series. Ms. Lee’s attempts at French and Scottish accents are like nails down a blackboard. Unpleasant and unwanted.

close.. but...

I've enjoyed the series, despite some "cookie cutter" characters and scenes. The accents and prononciations of some of the names, like colon in stead of Collin, drove me a little batty in this reading compared to the reader in the rest of the series.

Storyline is running out

This book was enjoyable, but it wasn't quite up to par with the other books in the series. I was a bit disappointed.

Very disappointed after listening to the first 6 books to hear a new narrator. why?

Gets better with every book

This one was a little different and kept me wanting to hear more. Can't wait till the next ones.

Rich in Atmosphere and Facts & What if?

This series has the nuances of time traveling historical fiction down to finely polished art. What if you could change history?

The art history of Great Masters then the American and French Revolutions are covered in this book. I can’t begin to explain it without SPOILERS.

This is a multi book series yet although reading the rich history and adventures of ALL the characters is best... I believe you can read this book on its own. Honestly, if you love historical fiction rich in atmosphere and facts....read the series.

The Narrator was excellent and didn’t miss a beat with either with different accents or sexes.

good book, good female voices

I preferred the voice for the men in the earlier books. these guys sounded weird.

What happened?

This book lost the focus and fun of the previous books in this series. The Thomas Jefferson story does not deliver on expectations. Additionally the new narrator isn’t very good either so the audible experience fell flat for a double whammy. I can only hope future books in the series are back on track.

narrator ruined this book

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. The characters are amazing. I am like a kid on Christmas when a new book comes out and I cannot stop listening to it. I’ve listen to all the books several times, but I cannot get through this book. The narrator is just that bad. I’m so sad and I’ve tried many times to listen, but I just can’t... I literally get a headache :( ... please bring back Teri for the future books.

Her soulmate is in the past... but which one?

Amazing. This book is amazing! With each book, Katherine takes us to a dive into the world abd USA history... and not just dive, but travel with the character to fel and live the experience. As I recently finish “A tale of two cities”, the violence of the french revolution is still fresh in my mind, so when Sofie finds herself in the middle of all this, was impossible not fear the bloodthirsty shore.
However, the brooch has it’s own magic, and guides the characters through tiryisis and confused streets, Sophie sees the circunstances taking her to the USA, where she finds out about hte pearl brooch.
Well, as all books of the author, this is also long and with a very slow narrative, but dom’t made you feel tired, on the contraty, you want to know more, you wnt to know what will happen, and how Sofie is changing the future... And the last chapters are unbelivable. Trust me.
