When James Cullen discovers Ensley has disappeared, he decides not to tell his family that he’s going back to rescue her, which is the worst decision he’s ever made. After finding TR at his ranch, Ensley’s not in a hurry to return to the future. She grew up on a North Dakota ranch near the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and this is a dream come true. She wants to go on a roundup with TR, while JC wants to go to MacKlenna Farm and “borrow” some gold from Braham McCabe’s secret cache.

JC makes the second-worst decision of his life and leaves Ensley in Roosevelt’s hands. While Ensley struggles with bad weather, bad food, stampedes, and wild animals, JC goes up against an evil force that plunges him into a crucible of terror and agony that could bring down the entire MacKlenna Clan.

Absolutely fabulous!

This is my favorite audiobook ever. I binged it, 27 hours straight, couldn't stop. Katherine Lowry Logan is a brilliant writer. The performances were wonderful. I loved the sound effects. It was the best!

Great strory, as always. Pretty intense and captivating. Look forward to the next book for sure!!!

This one will have you on the edge of your seat! I thought the story and the narrators were great!

Good but not the greatest!

I'm not sure why but I just didn't like it as much as the others in this series. Just can't put my finger on it.

I've been reading this series for years. love the content, character's and the time traveling history. it's more then worth the Tim.

I didn’t like all the explicit sex scenes. Too much information and not important. I like the story line.

Wow! I listened to all 27 hours straight through and it was so worth it! I laughed, cried, cringed, steamed, and so enjoyed the historical tidbits throughout! The only bad thing now is having to wait until 2022 for the next Brooch to appear and sure hope it is produced on @audible.com as well. It’s my understanding this is an expensive endeavor but please think of us who can only “read” books via audio. Keep up the great work @KatherineLowryKogan …I love your Brooch Series!!!

Don’t need make and female

I’m old enough I don’t think I need both male and female readers. The male doing a Scottish accent is ridiculous trying to mimic Sean Connery (sp) and it’s really quite annoying. I really have enjoyed all the books and am surprised the author manages to keep the story going for so long. I look forward to the next book.
