Frustrating narration volume

I typically listen while driving and half the time the male narrator goes down to a whisper or talking under his breath and I can hear nothing, then all of the sudden is too loud. Very frustrating! It did seem to get a little better in the last half of the book.

Well, that was unexpected!

I have been on the brooch journey since it began, and I’ve enjoyed the evolution of the family. This story had some surprising twists that added a whole new dimension to the storyline which opens the characters to a lot of different possibilities. I was hoping for some sort of cliffhanger at the end of this one though; especially with the new revelations set forth in this novel. Instead, it was slow, easy…and expected. The family has gotten so big, that to mention all of them over the course of the book does get confusing. Good story, but these are treasons for the four star review.

Aliens?

Aliens? I enjoyed the series except for the last 10 chapters. I’m sure I’ll listen again to these wonderful adventures! Thank you for the journey Ms. Logan!😃

Great twist!

Loved the continuation of TR’s story. Sarah and Rory are an awesome addition to the family. I loved the voices of the narration, but there was too much inequality of sound between the male and female voices. Often times the female voices sounded like they were “called in” on a phone or had a tinny or canned sound. I am looking forward to where the story goes now after all the new revelations. Can’t wait for the next installment.

The Celtic Brooch Series

Each book in the 13 book series added to the complete story and, at the same time, stood on their own. I enjoyed this series and hope to find more offerings from this author.
My only suggestion regards the male reader(s). Too often the reader lowered and softened his voice at the end of the sentence making it difficult to understand the words. I never had this happen with the female readers.

This is one of the best one yet in the series!

I loved getting some of the questions answered finally. Now we will have to wait to see what can happen next. We need a family tree to figure out who is who. It has become so complex now.

Another great listen!

Lots of good characters and plot twists. The narrators did a good job, too. I wonder if there will be more in this series? This one seemed to wrap up many loose ends.

A must read time travel series

This is a must read time travel series. Every single book is even better than the last. I cannot recommend enough.

Aliens

I love this series. I wonder what will come next. The 26 hours went way too fast!

Memorable

There hasn’t been 1 of this series that I haven’t enjoyed. Hope there’s a few more to come.
