Excellent series finale

Gabriel needed something to bring the spark back into his life. Sadie needed a safe place to land and hide, & a comforting, gentle touch to make her believe in humanity again. Thrown together in true Clover fashion, these two met by happenstance…or fate, if you will.
Once they both looked past the first impression & actually took the chance to have a conversation, their easiness with each other reflected what would blossom into a beautiful relationship. They just fit. No other words to describe them…they fit. Sadie is everything Amanda wasn’t for Gabe & Gabe is Sadie’s shelter in the storm.
The backstory was suspenseful & as it all played out, I was on the edge. But…karma man…everyone got what they deserved. Some good, some bad, but Sadie & Gabe coming out in the end with the family they chose…chef’s kiss.

Audiobook Review:
Vanessa Edwin & Lee Samuels narration was superb. Their delivery completely immersed me in the story & the emotions. I felt the tension of the plot in my soul.

Gabe and his fierce protectiveness!!!!

Gabe and Sadie's story is my second favorite from Jetty Beach. Vanessa Edwin and Lee Samuels did a spectacular job narrating. Vanessa is one of the few female narrators that can nail the male narration just as good as the female. I feel like Lee's voice was perfect for the type of person Gabe is.

When her entire family doubted a horrible incident that happened to her she left her home in Missouri and headed east. Just as she begins to build a new life her past catches up with her but she isn't alone in it this time....she has Gabe. He is so protective over Sadie almost from the very beginning and it is so sexy! Poor Sadie just needs a man to treat her the way she deserves and there is no man better than Gabe.

Running from the man who raped her trying to rebuild her life , with the fear the man will find her , Sadie unexpectedly finds herself working for Gabe who at first was not happy that his friend Clover hired her. Gabe was lost, losing his passion as a chef while all of his friends found love. Then Sadie comes to work at his restaurant and he senses her being broken, but is also attracted to her. Gabe falls for her and patiently shows her she can trust him, and helps her heal and renew her passion. When the man comes after her, Gabe is ready, he will do anything to put the man away so she can stop living in fear. Even when the man destroys his dream, Sadie helps him see the possibilities of his dream turning into theirs with a bright future.

Chefs Kiss

The final of the Jetty Beach Series and what a wrap up. Vanessa nails it trying to create the strong but damaged character and Lee does a great job as well.

This book reminds me of Safe Haven but different. They were drawn to each other from the beginning a chef and a women trying to find her way in life.

Enjoyable listen

I enjoyed listening to this book, more than I enjoyed reading it. The narrators were comfortable with each other and very easy to understand and enjoy. Lee Samuels and Vanessa Edwin did and awesome job.
