In the highly anticipated fourth book of The Order Series, Forest stands at the edge of her greatest challenge yet. A dangerous secret weighs heavily on her shoulders as she navigates dangerous waters, bracing herself for a battle that could reshape her world.

With tensions soaring and alliances shifting, Forest confronts her deepest fears head-on. Despite their differences, Xavier and his sworn enemy are compelled to join forces, knowing the looming threat could shatter everything they hold dear.

As they prepare for the imminent war, new adversaries emerge from the shadows, wielding formidable power, leading Forest and her comrades to realize they're not just fighting for survival but for the very future of their world.

In this climactic conclusion to the prequels of the Order series, hearts will be shattered, and sacrifices made. Yet, amidst the turmoil, a glimmer of hope persists, guiding Forest and her allies toward an unforeseen destiny. As the battle intensifies, they must summon every ounce of courage and strength, for this marks only the beginning of their legacy.

I’m heartbroken by the ending, but what an amazing story. I really enjoyed this entire series, and this author doesn’t disappoint on twists and cliffhangers. I don’t know why this is a sleeper series but I’ll scream it from the rooftops that this is a really good series. Like, after every book i finished I immediately downloaded the following book.

Devastating

I can't give more then 2 stars to this book... I am really disappointed and furious with this last book in the prequel series... Like WTF?! WHY?!

Story
Well damn… That hurt! I feel conflicted with the conclusion of this series. I did really enjoy the story, but there were things that just felt out of place. This has certainly a really great “villain in the making” series potential, but there were just a TON of editing issues and a lot of plot holes. A LOT OF PLOT HOLES! Those holes started to show up in the third book… I found myself asking “okay but why? What’s the point?” far too many times about almost everything that happened in the book…

I suspect this wasn't originally going to be a prequel series until the third book and this book is trying to tie up loose ends (but I still have questions because plot holes!) and set up a new series.

There's so much useless information here! It felt like we were really building to something, just for it to end with the villain it did, the way it did, it seemed backwards. It went from Forest's origin story to the villain's. This is why it almost seems as if new ideas came up that maybe weren’t initially thought of when outlining the series, with how jagged their addition to the story was.

Also what ever happened with the flash drive Forest took with the file from her father’s.

AND I AM MAD AND IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENCE TO ME THAT XAVIER "ACCIDENTALLY" KILLED HIS OWN DAUGHTER!!!!!! This is the main reason why I can't give this book more then 2 stars!!!

I fell in love with this series the first two books are chiefs kiss 👌🏽. The third started to show more inconsistencies with the plot, I enjoyed ish the last book but I felt like it was rushed and I wished it was longer. There could have been way more to add and plenty to take out that would have made this an absolutely great series.

Audiobook
Isabelle Turner & Anthony Palmini both deliver a great performance! Their delivery and cadence are spot-on, perfectly matched to the flow of the story and keeping you locked in from start to finish. You can feel that they’re fully invested in the storyline, which only draws you in deeper.
