My favorite Corinne Michaels book yet!

This book had me laughing and crying, and I’m not one who cries easily. The character development in this series is amazing. Corinne Michaels has a way with making her characters relatable and their struggles feel so realistic. Such a good read!!!

Ohhhhh I was almost there

Before I start the review about the story, narration.

Andi Arndt has yet to disappoint. Literally, not one time have have I not loved listening to her. If it weren’t for a little diversity I’d wish she narrated every book I listen too.

Joe Arden, another 5 star narration. Perfection

Love this authors books, loved this friends to lovers story. Written beautifully as always.

I hated the heroine. God, I wanted to like her. I flipping LOVED Sean. And honestly the two of them together? There entire story? The fact I didn’t have to live through unnecessary flashbacks? LOVED LOVED LOVED! But, Devney? I wanted to throttle her. I just don’t know that I’ve ever been more frustrated with a heroine before. It was the only thing that held me back from giving the book 5 stars.

Oliver told her that he wasn’t the man for her because she loved Sean. He wasn’t angry, he just they were meant to be together. It was Sean’s time to spend 6 months in Sugarloaf on the Arrowood Farm. Circumstances happen that throw Sean and Devney into tight quarters. Things happen that will wring every emotion out of you. Long held secrets are revealed that will impact everyone. Another great book by Corinne Michaels. All of her books have all the feels and this one did not disappoint. Another must read and a great series!

Story: Book 3 of the Arrowood Series
I have come to the conclusion that Corrine Michael can do no wrong. I have read her books out of order, and every time I start a new series, I swear the new series I am reading is my favorite. This book/series is no exception.
This has been the start of my reviews for this series since book 1, and with good reason, each book is so good. However, I am officially claiming Sean Arrowood as mine!!
This book was EVERYTHING!!! I loved this book so much and is hands down one of my top favorite books for this Troupe! Done! Period! No argument. Sean and Devney have the perfect friendship. They get one another, and isn't that the key to a long, healthy relationship? Friendship! I really do not have any words for this book. It was so good!! Go read it! Umm, you will need tissues (Thanks, Corrine!)


Narration:
I love both of these narrators so much!! They do an amazing job and bring their characters to life. Like always!!! I am never disappointed when you have Joe and Andi in your ears.

Arrowood Brothers

Sean and Deveny have been friends forever but never dated. I loved them together so much I am almost upset they were not together making each other happy forever. Sean seems like such a good man and I loved how committed Deveny was to her family. This is a well told story with characters that are the type of people you want to be friends with. Just the right amount of romance and heat. My only issue was that I think some of the back and forth went on too long. Several conversations seemed to be basically repeated.
I recommend this book and the first two in this series. Can't wait to see what book four has in store for us.

Sweet Brother Sean Romances His Best Friend Devany

The second eldest Arrowood brother Sean has been fighting his attraction and love with Delaney Maxwell, his childhood best friend for years, so when he comes home for his 6 month time on the family farm he decides to kiss her and make his move. She is attracted to him but resisting a relationship because she knows she would have to expose a secret that embarked her and if serious she would have to move from family and friends. This story is a basic romance but needs editing. Sean is a sweet, considerate guy whose only issue is that he is a professional baseball player based in Florida who travels frequently. Devaney comes off as self-centered, needy and more than willing to come up with excuses Why she can’t move to Florida to be with Sean. Part of the drama is also very predictable. Great narration though.
