Magic and reality mingle and mix in delicious ways! The only thing that bothered me a little was the slow start with nothing much happening. I felt a lot of.it could have been condensed or cut out.

Mystery and a sweet romance

I loved how the mystery and the love story progressed... slowly, steadily with a little tingle at each encounter. The description of the bakery, the people, the food were so enjoyable. A truly lovely cozy.

Slow but delicious story

I really liked other stories from this author. This one had the same great descriptive narrative ( I wanted a hot chocolate while listening) but so slow with background information that did not really keep my attention. If you like the French language and baking this is a good listen.
