Amazing

Such a cozy beautiful story, with cozy feelings. Heartwarming characters and magical moments. I loved the entire story from beginning to end! Beautiful descriptions.

Mystery and a sweet romance

I loved how the mystery and the love story progressed... slowly, steadily with a little tingle at each encounter. The description of the bakery, the people, the food were so enjoyable. A truly lovely cozy.

Slow but delicious story

I really liked other stories from this author. This one had the same great descriptive narrative ( I wanted a hot chocolate while listening) but so slow with background information that did not really keep my attention. If you like the French language and baking this is a good listen.

Light hearted and Whimsical

Great narration! A very easy listen and fanciful story, yet with fun twists and turns that add to some light intrigue.

Faith & Beauty

This by far is on of my favorite books now. It is full of finding yourself, taking chances, and love. Love is powerful and trustworthy even when we don't think so. I enjoy the history in the story and the mystery that unfolds. Evie Woods is a wonderful story teller. I have enjoyed all 3 of her books and look forward to reading the next one

Audiobook Review

I really enjoyed this story! The voice was perfect and I am grateful that audio was an option so I could hear the correct pronunciation. This book has me wanting to work in a bakery abroad!

Magical story of self discovery

I loved this book. Wonderful characters. Important history to never forget. Beautifully written I really enjoyed the narrator as well

A delightful mystery/romance with a French twist

I enjoyed going on the main character’s brave journey after she takes the trusting step of moving to France from Ireland to work at a bakery and find herself. Interwoven into the tale is an unsolved mystery of the goings on in the bakery’s basement, an appealing slow romance, and an inspiring growth arch for various characters. Nice local and historical details! Slow start but picks up nicely. Recommended!

I really enjoyed the story. The narrator was first not my favorite but as I became accustomed to her style, it was OK.
