Loved every second of this book. Amazing narrator. Cant wait to start the next in the series!

Delicious… Riveting… Great Book

I hands down loved this book 10/10 recommend this book, it was a great read and Beverly Barton is a great author all around.

Loved It

As a Bookaholic & Audible afficianado I approve this book! I read a few reviews that nitpicked about little things, but I kept an open mind and went for it. Boy am I glad I did. I kept wondering how they were going to get through this book with that much time but it flowed easily, and kept me glued! Now on to the next one!

These characters should be divorced. Still fun

The narrator was fantastic! I have avoided reading this specific book in the series for a long time, but it fits thematically with the others. Suspenseful and engaging, the long read/listen is worth the payout at the end. However I stand by my opinion Nic Baxter & Griffin Powell are far too similar, too high-handed, and get far too messy in the continuation of the series to stay married.

I am disappointed that the FBI characters did not do a better job at investigating.

So I got to say that the only reason I originally got this book was because of the narrator. I often enjoy listening to this narrator so many books I get is because of her.

But this one was surprising and enjoyable. I really enjoyed how the writer wrote the different characters and the different scenes to come to the conclusion. I'll be getting the next book because of the writer not their narrator.

Slow to take off

About halfway through it becomes less cookie cutter. Not interested in protagonist sex life here is my fifteen word minimum

Beware - this is a very graphic

I found this book to be way to graphic for me in terms of describing the gruesome acts of a serial killer. I don't need to hear the blow by blow of how each shot impacts the victim and the defiling of the body. Beyond that it has some good qualities, but the two main characters would never start to fall in love in rea life. If I were a woman I might actually find it insulting .
