Good story

Fake southern accent made characters sound like Forrest Gump and the over enunciation drove me crazy. No one talks like that.

Great story

Another great story line! However, I did not like the narrator. Sounded almost like a computer generated voice at times. And if you have your story line set in a southern state, at least use someone with a southern accent.

Great Mystery

I really enjoy Beverly Burton's books. This one did not disappoint with good twists and evil character.

Great story… Poor Narration

As always, Beverly Barton nailed it. This story is well-written, full of suspense and held a twist. The narration was borderline awful. The delivery held no emotion, over-enunciated like a computer and was inconsistent in pace. If this hadn’t been a BB book, I would have stopped it in the first few paragraphs.

Interesting book

The books story line keeps you guessing. Just not sure how the Powers were really apart of this book.

Beverly Barton and Tanya Eby provide a good listening experience.

Fire is a monster, but so is the killer. Tense with red herrings. Another good story from Beverly Barton.

Narration is awful

Absolutely loved this book as I have been going thru the entire series but the narration sounded like my cars GPS AI . I hate to hurt anyone’s feelings, just sounded too robotic and if it indeed was, well then they need to revise it. Love these books and doesn’t keep me from listening!

A very religious basis to this book. But a good psychological thriller- another good Griff Powell series book.

Story line

I loved the book and all the twists and turns it had and loved the story line
