Lies, Murder, Spice

Loved the narrators! The story was pulling me in and just when you think you figured it out… another twist. I may be looking for another book from this author.

A good southern mystery

There are several characters involved & at first a little hard to keep straight. But soon everyone falls into place for an easy follow. I enjoyed the plot of the story & recommend for readers that enjoy good twists & turns. *If listening to the audible version, beware there are sexually explicit areas of the story that wouldn’t be suitable for younger children to overhear.

Great book. Awful narrator

I don't think I've ever had such a hard time getting past narration in what was basically a great book. She did ok with voices, but her general narrative voice when not speaking "as" someone was very monotone and the way she pronounces certain words that are often used (i.e., didn't is "di-ent" and sometimes "di-nent") was so pronounced it was distracting.

I enjoyed the narrator of this one!

So many times the female narrators sound nasally…she didn’t. It kept my attention, it had a nice twist. Some of it was predictable but not terrible. It was overall pretty good.

My favorite book love Beverly Barton books! Thoroughly enjoyable reading. Can wait till the next book!

Too drawn out

I love BB but this was way to drawn out. I loved the characters but again tooooooooo drAwn out!! Story line was good but I skipped 10 chapters and never lost out on what wAs going on.

It kept me interested

I enjoyed reading this book. The plot was often predictable, yet it remained interesting. I will look for other titles by this author.

Mispronunciation of Ty’s in words

Narrator is good except she does not pronounce word with T’s correctly and it takes away from the story

Good story line, characters twist of who did it. I enjoy all of Beverly Barton’s books. Especially the series

I love the way they developed the characters and closed each characters story! Highly recommend
