Great

Phoenix

This is new to me. The author, narrator and genre. I enjoyed listening to this. I found this fast action paced story entertaining. Lots going on different levels in this city above Earth. The higher ups who were the privileged down to the lowers. In the lowers you were assigned to a crew. At first Phoenix was part of a killgirl for Her Majesty’s Navy, she’s mastered the deadly art of forcefinding, creating powerful energy bubbles that can trap—or obliterate—anyone in her way. When a mission goes wrong she is then sent to the trash boys, who after a disgusting initiation turns out to be a secret crew who drive fast cars to collect Ash Wood that's needed for those who have magic powers. There is war against crews, riots going on on upper levels. While listening to this it reminded me of a few movies like Mad Max, Gone in sixty minutes, Twisted Metal and some shows I've seen on Sci-fi.

recording has a few glitches and skips. if those were corrected 5 stars. but all in all amazing story

Interesting

This is the first book I've read/listened to written by Jeremy Thomas Fuller. It's not my usual genre so it took a few tries to get started. I ended up totally invested and not wanting to pause it. The twist and turns were great and I cannot wait for the next book. I'm going to mention that this is a series and it was a cliffhanger of sorts. But not a cliffhanger that leaves you completely hanging. I could stop at this book, satisfied, but I really want to know what happens next.

The narrator was great! She was new to me and I look forward to hearing more from her. She brought this audiobook to life with an emotional performance that had it rolling like a movie in my head.

Listened to the entire book in two days

Universe building could not have been better. Complex characters and a fast paced story. I couldn’t put it down. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Dumbest book ever

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever listened to. Starts out with women chained to chairs and men with whips. And little gay girls trying to save them. Couldn’t even finish it.
