A Fun Read

I honestly did not know what I was getting myself into with this one- but I am glad I did. The humor had me laughing and the turns kept me engaged. Can’t wait to find out what happens to Jonathan Hunter in the future

Fun series!

It started off a little slow for me, but once it really got moving the series is off and running. The books keep getting better as the series progresses. As the books continue to introduce new hunters and characters some of the stuff that goes on it laugh out loud funny. Looking forward to book 4!

unique use of legendary creatures

I enjoyed the first 3 books in the series very much. I'm ready for the next one.

slow start

It took 17 full chapters in book 1 to get any kind of action or anything truly interesting happening. I could list in 10 bullet points or less of 1 - 2 sentences each of what happens in all of those chapters combined and a person wouldn't miss a beat in starting on Chapter 17.

From there, the story line improves a great deal as well as character development and action.

In the beginning I didn't care for how the narrator voiced the main character however this seems to improve greatly in Books 2 and 3.

Great Reading

Great writeing in and of this story. Characters were great. It got me reading all the way to the end.

urban fantasy fun

Could use more gore and spooky stuff but the characters are hilarious. The outta left field twists and the MC being a prude. Got me to buy the whole series, would love a separate book that dives into all the cryptids, weaknesses and strengths and whatnot.

a Fun listen

It's a fun group of books. Just FYI, the second book has a repeat loop kind of thing going on. A mis-edit.

The performer voices were amazing!

Loved the story and the performer was wonderful switching between voices. Buy the boxed set.

Funny, very funny!

I think it's the most I've laughed out loud since listening to the book Dead Tired. The narrator did an excellent job too! I'm going to have to place him in my top 10 list. I wouldn't recommend listening to it at work otherwise you're going to sound crazy busting out with random bits of laughter. Outside of that, I highly recommend!

Great book... the 3 book pack may need a production review though

I really liked the book. It definitely has a Monster Hunters International feel to it, but definitely a fun listen. I was a bit disappointed with the production of the 1-3 pack though. Once you get to book 2 in the pack it skips a whole chapter then the next 2 chapters are out of order. Sooo if you want to hear book 2 correctly, you'll have to buy it separately, unless Audible fixes it.
