Resumen del Editor

A Dan Brown-genre riveting thriller which is part Da Vinci Code, part House of Cards.

An ancient religious artifact can change humanity’s fate...an incredible revelation beyond the veil of history.

When a top-ranking European Union official is brutally murdered, world-renowned geneticist Lydia del Biondo finds herself thrust into a bitter geopolitical and ideological war, one that has been raging covertly for millennia. Her journey will take you around the world in an immersive unseen race against incredible enemies. Be prepared to be shocked by biblical revelations that will linger in your mind long after finishing her adventure.

A deadly coronavirus sweeps across the globe, rising tensions threaten to spill over and topple many of the world's superpowers. Not knowing whom to trust and with time running out, Lydia plunges headfirst into an ancient mystery revolving around the mythical "Flower of Life" symbol that could hold the key to curing the disease-ravaged world.

Along the way, Lydia has to question her entire reality as nothing is what it seems. She will uncover artifacts and wisdom guarded by obscure powers who would even kill to keep them hidden. To unravel millennia-old mysteries and to save humanity from the brink of destruction, every ounce of Lydia's skill, wit, and bravery is put to the test....

If you love pause-resisting stories with action, Biblical mysteries, scientific facts, revelations, and a race against time, then you don't want to miss The Jesus Christ Cypher.

All the artwork, scientific facts, historical places and figures described are real and based on evidence: The Knossos Palace was the most magnificent Minoan monument (Crete, Greece).

Amazing adventure while waiting Dan Brown's next

Simply an amazing thriller, flawlessly narrated. I really enjoyed Lydia del Biondo as feminine version of Robert Langdon. I think Dan Brown and James Rollins finally found their match in Sebastian Kentor who will dazzle you in an exciting adventure around the world revealing surprising locations in Brussels, Cairo, The island of Crete, New York and Israel. Such a breath-taking roller-coaster adventure I haven't experience since listening to the Lost Symbol.
I loved the teaser he left at the end of the book. By the way when is the next coming out ?

Hmmmm

I downloaded after looking at the reviews on Audible and I have to say my experience was underwhelming. The writing is so simplistic that I couldn't decide if this was a long essay written for a middle school English class or, more likely, written in another language and very poorly translated. The dialogue is unlike any real conversation I've ever experienced. The author goes into great detail about items/people/situations that have absolutely no impact on the story. Conversely, he under describes very important segues in the stories plot. Or possibly non of the above. The storyline is so difficult to follow that I'm unsure what aspects had a negative, or to a lesser extent a positive, affect on the plot. There is an odd fascination with flight attendants, there is an impossible romance crowbarred into the plot , and I'm pretty sure one of the characters is the Covid19 virus.

In the authors defense, his story was not the least bit aided by the choice of narrator or editor. The narrator had a lovely voice, however, a number of evil and menacing antagonists had the voice of a nine year old girl. Words were often oddly pronounced if not completely mispronounced. Some of the same words were pronounced differently in different parts of the story.

Additionally, describing the book as "A Dan Brown-genre" thriller sets the readers/listeners expectations higher than the writing could ever achieve.

For fans of The Office, I was able to make it through the book by pretending that it was part of the Michael Scarn: Threat Level Midnight series. Then it became tolerable, and occasionally hilarious.
