Well written and entertaining.

The Stinker character is comical relief. I like how the two stories weave together and how the story is explained.

Even better than first book.

I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on the second book. I enjoyed the first one but it moved slow in the beginning. The second one was full of action! I really loved the characters too.

A semi-hidden gem

From the beginning I was hooked on this engaging storyThe main characters have the inner light of fairytale heroes overcoming immoral and evil circumstances. It is well written and appropriate for a wide age range without compromise. The narrator is excellent and there was never confusion as to who was speaking.
Spoiler……If you’re reading book 2 you might as well buy book 3 because book 2 ends in a cliffhanger!

Great book

Well told story. A little predictable but you look forward to the outcome and the book still draws you in. This is one of the few books I haven’t been disappointed in lately.

Gold Standard Second Installment of Trilogy!

Not a surprise but rather a delightfully enjoyable performance of a plethora moments of adventure, excitement and intriguing listening!

One of the most enjoyable listens I've had in years!

This series has been a blast to listen to! The story is a rollicking adventure with great pacing, and terrific characters that are well-drawn. The narration is so well done that the voice actor has quickly become one of my favorites. If you haven't listened to Volume One, run to get it, then listen to this one. I'm off to get Volume Three!

I have truly enjoyed this series, and so far have listened to books one and two. Great twist at end of book two! Emicho!

Fantastic and Hilarious

I am thoroughly entertained! Its a refreshing story, not the same old coming of age fantasy story.
Although, I like those too... shamelessly. But, I've laughed more in the last week than I have in quite some time. Thanks!

It has captured my interest and held on tight!

Thus far, this series has been very well written and crafted! I laude it’s ability to highlight the vital need for and the presence of individuals of true character and integrity during the darkest of times. With an old world feel to the tale, it certainly rings pertinent and hopeful in the world of today.
