Another enjoyable Adventure<br />

this is another enjoyable book in this series. is well-read and has a good field to the book. Not the most moving book I've read this year but entertaining.

Sigh, It is finished.

I just completed the third book in this series. Was a combination of laughter, travel, fighting for life, and death. These were all wrapped up in alchemy. It also includes a very lovable Gargoyle character!
I enjoy this Author and even though I have to leave this story line, I have started another​ group of her books. This is a series of at least 6 books. I hate leaving a set of great characters but looking at the next series, I'll be meeting another bunch of intelligent and interesting characters. This series includes a pirate!
The reader is easy to listen to and extremely good at presenting the different characters. (I always try to hear the voice before choosing an audible now.) I would much rather read the book if the reader grates on my sensibilities! I will follow her too, since I enjoy her presentation.

The third installment of the Gargoyle series was yet again most entertaining.

Enjoyable but depends a bit much on dragging out and/or epeating main character's inner concerns.

Love this series

I can't get enough of this series. The narrator is perfect. I love Dorian and want a gargoyle best friend, too.

Cute Fun Series!

Love the French gargoyle. Because I enjoyed all the other characters I forgave the main character for all her fault. This author seems to think all female main characters get lost in thought and tune out of conversations. She had another main character do it in another series. I found it odd that the love interest wouldn't confide in his girlfriend through all three books. I think I would have found a new playmate. I did really like the premise of the main character. Having eternal youth through the philosopher stone. I love the tie in to a wealth of alchemy background.

Good storyline but needs less reminders

Why she insists on adding backstory every five seconds is baffling to me. It’s one thing to enlighten the reader when it’s new information, but she CONSTANTLY reminds you of what happens in her prior books. It’s 150% unnecessary. If you want a preface chapter or to blend info into the first chapter then great. Do what you must. But we’ve BEEN listening to it. You fill up an hours worth of repetitive info in every book. This is a great series, with a unique story. It’s interesting, humorous, and fun. But it loses a LOT of magic and mystery when you’re constantly regurgitating old information. A great writer doesn’t need to remind the reader what they’ve written. We won’t have forgotten.

A fun story

You will love Dorian and his French cooking. A unique story that is fast paced with a cast of believable characters. Portland, Oregon comes alive almost as a character itself.

One of the best series ever! I can Re-listen to these books over and over and it never gets old. I'm super excited for the new books!
