Resumen del Editor

As a young mathematician, Jim Eckert was transported to a parallel medieval world where he found he had the ability to transform himself into a large but none-too-bright dragon named Gorbash. Jim Eckert's daring exploits have earned him a title - Baron de Bois de Malencontri et Riveroak - and he has settled down to a peaceful life as a feudal lord, with his beloved Angela at his side. But a new peril endangers his enchanted realm - as the King of the Gnarlies teams up with the Earl of Cumberland, Jim's longtime rival, to kidnap his adopted son, Robert. Soon Sir Jim must assume the shape of the Dragon Knight once again to rescue little Robert, and finds himself entrenched in a magical battle royal - one he'll have to fight harder than ever to survive!

I wish someone would make a Netflix series

I've grown extremely attached to all of these characters. James and Angela, Brian and Geronde, Dafydd and Daniel as well as Carolinas, Hob, and Rrrnlf are very compelling characters that you become quite attached to. The adventures are fun and the characters do not tend to get themselves into worse trouble by being stupid.

Good

I enjoyed this book. This story isn't quite as good as the first 2 books. It should have repeated with a little more emphasis why the 2 main villains are out to get James Eckert. They sort of appear and are said to be the villains and that is it. This is especially true when one of the villains is left at the end of a book with all the appearances of turning over a new leaf. It also isn't too clear how the villains got in touch with The Gnarly King who is a villain. Paul Boehmer's reading fits the character very well. I enjoy his reading. There should be change in the description. Our hero James Eckert is not a mathematician. He was a teaching assistant at River Oaks who specialized in the Middle Ages. That is the reason why he considered staying in the 14th century setting for The Dragon series. He does/did not change into a non too bright dragon named Gorbash. He was transported into Gorbash's body and used it in book one. After that, he changes into a dragon who resembles the Cliff Side dragon community of which Gorbash is a member. I have found other books where the descriptions are wrong. Audible doesn't seem interested in making corrections even after this is pointed out to them.
