Excellent mystery 4.5 stars

If half stars were an option I would give The Devil’s Bed 4.5 stars! Fast paced and very well written; plot twists and excellent character development keeps the story moving along and keeps the reader engaged. I wish William Kent Krueger would continue a series with Bo Thorsen.

Tight deep state mystery

Nice characters, a bit idealized by likable. Good listen. I would listen to others by the author.

Perfectly written to build anticipation.

I just discovered this and was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved this! Jay Snyder made this book come alive, as he always does! Everything was great about this book. I will definitely read more.

Well Written and Well Told

WKK's writing in the Devil's Bed is very good. His Cork Corcoran series... I've listened to them all...are consistently first class for the genre. But two of his novels,
Ordinary Grace and This Tender Land, rise to another, higher level of excellence. WKK is capable of spinning prose into the golden realm of poetry. James Dickey's novel, Deliverance, is similar in this regard.

Just the best

So sorry that this didn’t lead to a series. One of the best mystery thrillers out there, from one of the best storytellers. Enjoy!

Love, William Kent Krueger. this is so different than his other books but enjoyed the listen.

Disappointed

Ive read all the books about Cork OConnor and I loved Ordinary Grace,but this is my first with Bo Thorson.This book seemed like every other political conspiracy book out there and I could not feel the character because he didn’t come to life on the pages for me,sadly.

Plot, characters, and everything about it. Loved it. Drew me in and I could not turn it off.

Another exciting Krueger story

I have listened to several of William Kent Krueger books, and this one every much as interesting as the others. I have recommended books by Mr. Krueger to several friends, and have yet to find one of his books which I can’t wait to get back to if I have an interruption. Thank you .

Mr. Snyder’s narration was excellent; especially since the dialogue required him to speak in several different voices constantly. All in all a great experience. Thank you.
